The INSIGHT Youth initiative raises awareness about childhood myopia and excessive screen time – and helps families build healthier habits through education, outdoor play, and accessible vision care.

MYOPIA, also called NEARSIGHTEDNESS, is a common refractive error where distant objects appear blurry while close objects remain clear.

AGE, Adolescents and high school students show higher prevalence, with estimates of 47% and 45.7%, respectively

Free Programs for Kids Ages 4-13

We host tennis classes, arts & crafts sessions, and dance lessons – a digital detox for kids while we spread awareness about myopia and other sight diseases. No entry fee, ever. This is our way of giving back to the community we grew up in.

Sports

Outdoor play and coaching that gets kids off screens and onto the court – great for developing distance vision.

Arts & Crafts

Hands-on creative sessions paired with kid-friendly lessons on screen time and eye health
